Re: Please move to Feature Films (Horror) |
Old movies and tv shows make life a lot less stressful. I can't tell you how many times in the past couple of weeks I've watched (and enjoyed!) Teenagers Battle the Thing AND Curse of Bigfoot! For some reason, I like the "original" black and white version a bit more. If not for your posting it, I'd never have seen that cut of the film at all! :)

Not everyone can relax and enjoy a cheap b-movie, huh? To me, add pizza and (root) beer, and I'm in heaven. :)

Re: Please move to Feature Films (Horror) |
I think what's so amazing about these little films is that they were made at all. Filmed on budgets that wouldn't pay for lunches on a Hollywood studio film; shot in somebody's back yard; cast with local little theatre players and family members...and yet, these films got distribution, played the drive-in and late show for years. To me, that makes films like these far more impressive than anything Hollywood ever cranked out. And a heck of a lot more fun, too! :)
